Nordic Safari — 1.5 hours

Experience the mountain world as the day slowly turns to dusk — a snowmobile ride with a very special feeling.

Nordic Safari is a lovely combination of trail driving, forest driving and the possibility of freeriding. We start while it is still light and head out through Idre's beautiful winter landscape.

During the tour, you will experience varied snowmobiling and, when snow and off-road conditions allow, the opportunity to try your hand at coasting off the trail under controlled forms together with the guide.

On the way back, dusk begins to settle over the forest and mountains. The snow, silence and blue winter light create a fantastic atmosphere and give the tour a completely different feel than our tours earlier in the day.

Nordic Safari is suitable for both those who ride a scooter for the first time and those who have driven before and want to experience a varied tour in the winter landscape.

No previous experience is required — before departure, the guide goes through safety, the scooter and the basics of driving.

For driving scooters:
 You must be at least 15 years of age and have a valid AM driver's license, snowmobile driver's license or B driver's license.Please bring a valid driver's license/driver's license — this must be presented to the guide before the tour. Without valid authorization, you cannot drive the scooter.

Passengers & Children: Max 2 people are allowed to ride on a scooter.

For smaller children, we recommend booking sledding with an adult. It is up to the guardian to decide whether a younger child is able to sit as a passenger on the scooter. The scooters have a double seat with backrest and handles.

There is room for two adults or one adult and two smaller children (0-3 years old) in the cabin. Our sledges have canopies that can be used up or down.

Children up to 7 years old bring their own ski helmet.

Good to think about
: Dress warmly and warm shoes (boots are available to borrow), gloves and preferably a balaclava. We recommend finger gloves because they are easier to drive with.

As the tour runs during the afternoon, temperatures may drop when dusk comes, so feel free to dress a little extra warm.

Collection
:5 minutes before the start of the tour at the black scooter cabin next to Aske's playpark on Idre Fjäll.

Important information
: The route and the possibility of coasting are subject to change depending on snow, weather and off-road conditions.

The deductible in case of possible damage is paid by the lessee. Personal injuries are covered by the participant's own insurance.

Late arrival or lack of a driver's license/driver's license does not qualify for a refund.
